About

Rik’s Salvation Testimony

Rik attended a Jr. College (in 1970), where he recalls feeling totally alone in a sea of people. A friend invited him to attend Church, where he heard for the first time how much God loves him. This friend gave him a Bible, which he began reading. It was at that point that Rik realized for the first time that he was a sinner in need of a Savior. At that point, he received Christ as his Lord and Savior! Soon after, Rik dedicated his life to sharing the Love of Christ with others.

Sue’s Salvation Testimony

At the age of 7, Sue remembers her Sunday School teacher telling the class, that if anyone wanted to go to Heaven, to stay seated after class was over. She recalls not being able to move. After class, her teacher talked with her and then led her to the Lord. When Sue got home, she excitedly told her mom about her decision.

Her parents moved from Omaha, Nebraska to Concord, California. It was there in the youth group that Rik and Sue met, started dating, and then were married in 1973. They were quickly involved in Jr. High Sunday School, Children’s Church, and the Bus Ministry.

Along with helping her husband in the ministry, Sue is a Respiratory Therapist in a local hospital, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

In 1981, Rik graduated from Tennessee Temple University, in Chattanooga, TN, with a Th.G. degree.

Rik is a retired pastor of 27 years; where they faithfully served at Calvary Bible Baptist Church, in Washburn, Iowa.

Sue earned her associate’s degree (RRT, Registered Therapists), while living in Iowa.
